About the Role:
THE BUDDIE SYSTEM LLC is looking for a dedicated and reliable Full-Time Janitorial team member to join our 1st shift crew in Columbus, OH! This is a great opportunity to be part of a hardworking team that takes pride in keeping spaces clean, safe, and welcoming every single day.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms, common areas, and workspaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors throughout the facility
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
- Restock janitorial and restroom supplies as necessary
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals
Requirements:
- Prior janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work a consistent 1st shift schedule
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness standards
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is a plus
